RNG Softlock nonsense
Just venting here!

So you finally have a great run, where you can travel nice distances and have super probe and high resistance, which makes sustainability no problem. Then you decide to go for the far away ending, pass by green and BAM ♥♥♥♥ YOU SOFTLOCK HA-HAAA!
I lost my tech for some power upgrade in the Death People encounter and 3 turns later I lose the upgrade itself, locking me into 2 star systems, ending the run by softlocking me. This is just tedious and has nothing to do with being a challenging game! There is nothing for me to do to play around this eventuality, I could not have played better to prevail despite this event. This is just bad design and the only winning move is not to play! I've had my fill of Out There for a while, thank you very much!

Every time in this game. Like right now for instance: I'm supposed to be taking this alien to a specific system, but that system is guarded by dudes (despite my ansible telling me its safe) who attack my ship and kill the alien. So now it's impossible to complete this mission. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-
