I think I might know what it is. If you right click anything other than a stack/room in your ship, then it will bug out and not allow you to click anything. Happened to me a few seconds ago. Is there any way that you're accidently right clicking stuff?

Its a Lenovo laptop, win 8.1 64-bit, intel celeron dual core 1.9ghz, 4 g ram, integrated graphics card

This exact problem happens to me too!
Keyboard commands sort of work, enter for yes escape for no or cancel.

No mouse highlights, cant click any menus. I don't recall ever right clicking and mouse works fine in previous versions but this bug pops up randomly - starting to notice it every few playthroughs.

edit: On pc using Win7 64 bit

I use voice recognition for right click which sometimes gets activated by background noise but I've yet to encounter this bug.

I bought the game on the Steam Summer Sale 2015. This happens to me every game. I have to quit the game and re-enter to make it stop. Seems that if I click too fast with left mouse button, or use right mouse button on the space area make it happen.

To not lose any interesting things I got, I have to use the pause button, than it let me use the game buttons, with the menu buttons over it being unusable, like layers, The game is the under layer, and the menu is the upper, and mouse doesn´t work on the upper layer, only on the lower one.

Really makes the game boring and unplayable. I use Windows 7 32 bit on a desktop

Hello all,

I just bought the game and I'm very dissapointed since I cannot play it at all.

The keyboard works (arrows and ZQSD) and I can move the cursor on the screen but if I try to click anywhere nothing happens.

I cannot even pass the tutorial, since I cannot close the first dialog window by clicking "ok".

Exactly the same problem. I got the game but I never could play it.
Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 14" i7
Win 10
Several mouses - all the same.
The mouse works until I go past the intro. Also, ZQSD is a really weird directions layout!
