I give up
Not because it's hard, altough it took me alot of tries to explore over 10 systems, i finaly make it 2 jump from end game, then some kind of bug happens and it doesnt let me click on any stars with the mouse, i tried quitting and continuing the game and everytime i get on the star map it doesnt let me click on anything.

I have given this game a chance even through all the fustrating restarts. Theres SO many bugs for a game this simple, it's freaking text and pictures. I will waste no more time on this.

Hi jordax, your spaceship need a space folder or a telescope in order to click on stars

Nothing is damaged on my ship and nothing is missing. also it does not let me zoom the map in and out, half the distance circle is out of the screen

Take a screenshot of your spaceship and another of the galaxy.

I've had this bug as well. Usually quiting and continuing has helped. Geff, do you know where the save files are kept? I've been trying to find them in the usual Steam folder to try and save them but no luck. Maybe we should send them to you as well?

I know where they are for Windows 7/8. Not sure about OS X or SteamOS.

You'll find it in the AppData directory of your user's folder. So, let's say your user's name is Bob, and Windows system drive is mounted at C:, it would be

C:\Users\Bob\AppData\Local\MiClos Studio\OutThereOmegaEdition

I would check your home directory in the 'nix OSes and see if it's there somewhere. The save is named "outthereomega.sav"

Thanks project_mercy, I actually just found it by looking in remotecache.vdf in the steamapps folder, which led me to the outthereomega.sav file. :) That may help people on other platforms locate it, as that file contains the path of the save file.

Also, remember to turn off steam cloud syncing!

Here are the paths of savegame :

Windows :

C:\Users\[user_name]\AppData\Local\MiClos Studio\OutThereOmegaEdition\outthereomega.sav

OS X :

/Users/[user_name]/.local/share/MiClos Studio/OutThereOmegaEdition/outthereomega.sav

Linux :

/home/[user_name]/.local/share/MiClos Studio/OutThereOmegaEdition/outthereomega.sav

did you right click? if you rightclick anything but the resources, it will bug out. just exiting and continuing sould do it.

y know whats with the fake accounts responding to this? The dev doesnt need fake back up to prove his own points...

I had also had this issue where the game constantly zooms to the final quest location after every action.

He's posting to tell you not to help the dev.... Which I suppose is his way of posting to help the dev....

People like this should generally be ignored, but sometimes also require beating.

i've encountered the non-zooming issue as well. I (re)built the telescope and then it seemed to work fine again. Haven't encountered the auto zoom to end goal, though...
