No, really. Stupid cards distracting people from the actual game. Here and everywhere on Steam.
In any case, it seems like this game's cards are pretty rare, based on their market prices, indicating that it's a game that's quite rare (base card prices over US$0.50). So I'm not surprised that the foil card prices are insane, because they're just so illiquid.
The reason the cards for this game are so expensive is simple:
This game has only been bundled once, in Bundle in a Box's Eclectic Delights bundle, which I believe didn't really sell that many copies to begin with. So not many people have this game, which means there's not many cards out there.
And if you think this is bad, you should take a look at the prices that some cards for Rambo: The Videogame have in the market.
