At this point there is no simple way to distribute a level through the workshop. It used to be in the plans but the level editor usage was extremely underwhelming and you would effectively be the first user to actually go through the entire process of creating a full level.
There is currently no support for crediting the artist unless we pack the level ourselves, though that couldn't happen because I don`t know about the legal ramifications of releasing a peach fan art image.
The content does not seem to be something we would ban for nudity reasons.
If it is a full, decent quality level you are looking to release, i'd be very interested in playing it!
Turns out I have one more question on the image I currently plan to use, the one I linked to.
Is it okay to use it based on copyright? It is of Nintendo's IP and you've said custom images in the workshop cannot infringe on copyright. Would I be covered in the sense I'm making a free mod or would it be crossing a line? I know you guys aren't lawyers, so what I'm really asking is if you think it fits with your rules and if you're okay with it.
I can totally make do if it isn't. Sorry I didn't ask this sooner, as it is the more pertinanent question, but it sadly didn't occur to me until now.
Just FYI, the level I'm making might also fall under that copyright umbrella, as it is a blantant copy of World 1-1 of SMB (which I did to test the editor and get to grips with it with something simple), but I'm gonna be editing the terrain some (think "The Floor Is Lava") and some assets will be replaced outright to avoid issues, so I'm assuming it's safe. But I thought I'd bring it up anyway.
Thank you again for your time.
