1: this is the hardest cash to get in the game. VERY difficult but feasible.
2:I added that checkpoint last patch but didn't test it so i assume you are right. I'll fix that aswell.

On the level called "Something Fishy" the second to last Check point failed to register for me today (02/01/2016) as well. I made it there and activated the check point and tried to go for the last chest, died and respawned at the 3rd last check point.

samething happened to me today with the checkpoint before the last chest/ending checkingpoint on something fishy

2: ariel's stage(one with the fish head) during the last area with the cash (before you go all the way up to the finish) is a check point that doesn't work, making me go back to the check point before the zigzag lava area when ever i die, is it a glitch? or was it made like that?

I fixed this bug in a patch today. The patch also includes about 50-100 MINOR level design tweaks throughout the game.

In hard and funky, this is how to get past the second missile. If you are on the leftmost side of the room it is impossible. Instead, you have to place yourself between the two blocks. That way, when you jump straight up all the way, you will jump above the rocket, and then will have enough time to move to the platform. Once in the platform, you have to do a small jump to move yourself into the fan that pushes you up, but below the fan that pushes you to the left side, and then stop using fuel, but keep pressing right. If you have enough fuel when you are at the top of the air wave, you will be able to jump to the left and enter the chamber with the money.

Nevertheless, I think that the second rocket is needlessly sadistic. There's another level with a gratuitous rocket at the end that gets on my nerves.
