Sorry for the slow response.
I've added you to my friend list so i can help you if we happen to both be online at the same time.
The first thing i would like you to try is adding a debug flag to your game's config file so that you can get an error message detailing the problem.
1-Locate your installation folder. Default installation path is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Uncraft World
2-Open the file UCMCONFIG.txt in notepad and add a new line containing only the text "DEBUG" in uppercase and without the quotes ("")
3-When starting the game afterwards, you should get an error message popup. Please upload a screenshot of the error message
I'm suspecting either an error with your XNA framework installation or windows media player.
Update: Added debug command to the text file as described, game still launches and immediately crashes with no error message displayed.
To my knowledge, this problem was only reported twice out of almost 5000 sales so far, so it seems like an extremely rare occurence bug.
I tested on the original poster's computer and couldn't find a solution to the problem after hours of digging. If it is the same problem, there should be a .NET error log in windows event viewer. This indicates that the main routine of the game was not even reached so the debug flag is ignored.
I have no idea how to solve this problem. Maybe reinstalling windows media player, .Net 4.0 or XNA framework could fix it but i don't have access to a test machine to figure it out. If the reinstalls fix the problem, PLEASE report back to me as i would really like to have a definitive solution to offer if someone else gets the same problem.
If the reinstallations don't work, i could try some things if you let me remote connect on your machine. Otherwise i have no solution to offer and you should unfortunately get a refund.
