Mod compatibility
Hey All,
Just came back to the game after years-long hiatus. Of course the old game is old, and so all the best mods wont have been updated in years, but it seems like every single one of note is out of date. apparently the 2022 updated ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up modding, and I've read some suggesting to revert versions, but the betas available only seem to be for mac or linux.
I'm fine playing vanilla, but I'd really like to play with a few old QOL mods, so if anyone knows how to roll my version back to a mod-friendly stable patch, Id appreciate you sharing.

Don't believe all the ♥♥♥♥ you read on the internet.

Any mod that was uploaded to Steam prior to the introduction of the current launcher, is flagged as being out of date. Ignore that. They work fine.

There is no reason to roll back your game version.

odd, I tried a few of the older popular mods, darth, samurai castles, etc.. got allot of strange texture issues.
anyway it doesn't matter, I realised the modding community has some really good new work, and that all works perfectly. feels strange not recognising darth as the defacto essential mod for the game.

Ok. I wouldn't classify DarthMod or Samurai castles as QoL mods, these are significant overhauls of the game systems and maps.
If you are wanting to use those and are experiencing problems, you might be better asking on the comments section of the specific mod as it is unlikely that you are alone in having the difficulty.
