yes.... we just want to be able to fight battles more often. That's why we wana play a co-op campaign with this 1 mod enabled. And it's just not working

Does the mod work for both of you playing in SP mode, or does it not work for one of you?

it works for me.... Not sure about my buddy because im convinced he doesn't know how to play with mods....

But just for the sake of it, lets just say..... Yes he knows how to play with mods enabled in the total war launcher... Now what?

There is no value to making that assumption because, if it is not correct, it is a waste of time trying to guess what the cause is when, all along it might be because your friend does not have the mod installed, or not enabled, or not working on his computer.

The first step is to figure out when the problem does occur and when it does not occur. Then can begin to understand what the cause of the problem is and how it can be resolved.

I installed the mod and for me it works as expected in SP.

You need to be sure that your friend has it installed, has no other mods installed / activated, and that it works in single player for him. If not, there is no value to trying to guess the cause of the problem.

i think he might be special needs... He's sent me screenshots of him with mods enabled in his launcher. And sent me video footage of him being unable to join a game i host... with that 1 mod enabled.

He's also demonstrated that playing on the campaign map is a real challenge for him, on easy.... Without mods. I don't understand what the problem is. Total War is a very easy game to just jump into and out of.

Should I just move on to other games?
