Yes! You are right! The Tanaka part can be a little difficult, don't worry. If you see, every music has a progression. The first one is the easiest and every time that you play the next song after another, the song is more difficult

The bit that took me a few goes to figure out was that you had to hold the key down for the duration of the rising bars, not just tap it. After that, it really helped to follow the rhythm of the music as well as graphics. Although I stuck with "normal" difficulty, i was getting 80-90% most of the time, and once scored 100% (3 coins!).

The songs list will take you straight to the rhythm game when you click on a mode (normal etc) for each song. In the end I just kept playing through the song list until I had enough coins to get all the images.

Although this game is a pain as I have a compact keyboard which squashes the arrow keys into half-buttons.
