Known Issues
Known Issues

Black Boxes around roads: This is caused by playing with an Intel Graphics system which is not supported by the game. The game requires a nvidia GTX 680 (or AMD equivalent) or better.

Low FPS: The game requires at least a CPU with 4 Physical cores of at least 2.6GHz (2 physical / 4 logical are below min requirement). For optimal performance, a 4.0+GHz, 6 core, or more, CPU is recommended. The minimum GPU requirement is a GTX 780 (or equivalent) or better.

You can compare your GPU to a 780 here. Repoace the 2080ti with your GPU: https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-RTX-2080-Ti-vs-Nvidia-GTX-780/4027vs2164

Stuck Nuggets: There is an issue where the occasional nugget will get stuck on a road and die from hunger/thirst. If you see one stuck, simply pick it up and put it down. Our Engineers are working to solve this issue asap (by the end of the week hopefully)

Black Boxes Around Roads:
This happens on Intel HD Graphics (which are not supported by the game and below (WAY below minimum specs)

Some OSX & Linux systems

OSX/Linux will be fixed, but I can not guarantee a fix for Intel HD Graphics as they are below the min specs to run the game

Stuck Winter: The game seasons progress, but the temperature stays stuck in winter. We do not know the cause of this. Often if you save the game, and then load the game, the issue fixes itself. If it does not, please email your save (.tu and .tup files) to support@crytivo.com or DM them to me on discord

Twitch integrations can randomly disconnect: We are investigating the cause. Make sure to start the video stream, get onto the planet, then start twitch integrations.

8GB RAM: If you have 8GB RAM, and you are crashing a lot, try setting your swap file to 16GB (16384). The game uses 6-12GB of memory depending on your city size. For the game + windows + background apps/services, you need a total of 16-24GB total memory. To simulate this on an 8GB system, the swap file should be 16GB. Also setting it to "Let windows manage" it should work as well. Some 16 GB systems may also need to increase their swap file or set to "Let windows manage"

Integrated Graphics: Intel / AMD Integrated Graphics are not supported and must be disabled. They will cause the game to constantly crash. This must be disabled in the system BIOS. They are below the minimum requirements and will have performance and other graphical issues/glitches if you try to use them

Other Issues:

1. Houses get built on hills and mountains. This also causes the mountains to get terraformed. This issue will be fixed in a later version of the game. This also causes residential blocks and decals to get warped and bent on the mountain slopes. This should be greatly improved in V44.

2. Nugget list sort order broken. This will be fixed in a later version.

3. Floating grass happens when the height of the ground is changed by a building. This is a known issue and will be fixed in the future.

4. Animals "stretching" - often when dropped. This is a known issue and will be fixed in the future.

5. The sun can bleed through the planet as a blue blob. This will be fixed in the future.

6. "Black Planet" om Main Menu. This is still being investigated.

7. Space Suits exposed in v42. This is will patched out in v43. If we hotfixed this for v42, it would break everyone's save files

8. News Archive can not be sorted / does not display in order

9. Various text issue (spelling, grammar, etc) and incorrect translations. These will be fixed in the future

10. Ministers either place too much of one building, not enough, not at all, or cluster buildings (defense towers). This is being investigated and is not an easy fix. They will be fixed in the future or re-designed.

Hi not been on for a few months and things look great, but I did not get to see much as it now crashes on load up of the world........ is any one else having this problem (and before you jump up saying its my pc, its never had a problem with this game and I have had it from its first beta)

each patch, things change with the game, and we also upgrade the game's engine. So something could be broken for you. I would need to see your output log file right after your game crashes to see what's going on.

The output (and the crash files if they are there) would help to find the issue. You can email them to support@crytivo.com or drop them to me on our discord server

Important file locations (output_log.txt, saves, and crash files)

I do love seeing giant laundry lists of bugs being stomped out :lunar2019piginablanket:

The only known bug thats been bugging (hah) me the most has been the broken ministries.
The main governor works perfectly for auto assigning my nuggs, but everything else has been woefully busted for the longest time.

I think I got lucky and had a ministry of water working once, sort of, like 3-4 patches ago, and he figured it was a good idea to just plop down like 6 reservoirs for some reason
Then the ministry of education though it'd be funny to keep building schools non stop.

I feel like its gonna be a really amazing feature to the game when it gets all polished up :D
I can only imagine how wonderful the games gonna be once I don't have to worry about food and water anymore.
