A meteor shower was aimed over a large part of my village, I set off the alarm around 30 seconds before it hit. It ended up destroying the forecast tower, however this didn't stop alarm sound. Even after rebuilding the tower and turning on/off the alarm button over and over it did not stop it. Only way to get the sound to stop playing was to reload the save.
