I'm setting up a steam link machine with an old laptop and I'm running into issues with the controller inputs.I'm using an OEM Dualshock4 that works perfect on my main PC and the laptop if I run the
game directly off the system, however when using steam link the in-game controlls show xbox inputs. Even the big picture mode inputs are playstation, it is just in game that I'm having incorrect inputs

I'm having an issue with my Steam Links where the keyboard / mouse plugged into my PC via USB seem to override any kind of input from controllers attached to the Links (including an XBox 360
controller with dongle, my Steam Controllers, and a bluetooth keyboard / mouse I've been using).

More specifically, when I boot the Steam Link into Big Picture Mode, the Steam Link's controllers will *get

I am using a 360 wireless dongle which is supported and the Link finds it just fine and the controller works but there is about half a second input lag when you play. The results in about 90% of all
games becomes unplayable. I have a high-end computer and fast 100Mbit fiber connection and the Link is connected by wire and the network connection shows as maximum so the network is not the issue.

Until recently I had no issues using the steam link to play this game but now when I log into the game and get to the menu it does not work. The game does not respond to any inputs nor does it
recognize a controller at all. This is the same regardless of if I use a wired or wireless controller. For the record I am using an Xbox Controller.

I bought a powera controller to use with my steam link but when it's in use it has awful input lag on the sticks. It can take up to a second for stick movement to stop, and if I move the stick in a
circle a few times then let go it will buffer the commands and keep turning in circles. If I do it for a few seconds the controller will stop taking inputs, stick with whatever the last position it

inputs will begin to be read at a significant delay followed by outright disconnecting my controller, which then reconnects after a few seconds (apparent by the screen freezing for a split second and the
"Switch Pro Controller" popup appearing in the bottom right of the screen). Input will then continue as normal but depending on the game, the game may refuse to continue to read inputs so I need to exit the

controller via a receiver which is plugged into the phone. My main issue is that, sometimes it doesn't detect the input, or keeps it going even though I've let it off already. This is pretty annoying in racing
/ Emulated Steam controller doesn't suffer from any of these issues.

If anyone have an idea about this, I'll gladly try anything. Things to point out:

Anolog Stick on my XBOX 360 Controller does nothing. To navigate menus on KODI I have to use RT and LT, which is weird per se and doesn't work well either.

Any ways to remap buttons?

I’ve been using my link quite often, with no issues with my PS4 controller link (wired or via BT). Though tonight, after using my controller fine, I started having issues in menu. It was fine before like
going on or what sparked this issue but something is up. Any help on the manner will be killer. Thank you guys!
