I've been using the Steam Link App on the Nvidia Shield for a while now without any major issues (just some controller nuissances).

But Witcher 3 has a big issue where whenevever the game loads a
cutscene (non-video) it just freezes both on the TV and the host system and forces me to basically skip the cutscene.

streaming TV/Movies through VLC is all good though, so maybe just an FPS issue?
