understand I can work around this issue, but the question is there a proper solution without a workaround? I don't want yet another input peripheral around the living room and have to worry about batteries.
I'm very picky about controls, and unfortunately I dislike the steam controller. The xbox one controller (I don't even have an xbox) is the best for my tastes and even then it's a compromise.

This goes for when I try to play a game with steam open on my PC and when I stream to my Link. Whenever I hit the settings button on my Xbox controller it opens some Big picture mode bs on PC and

mouse to navigate, but it looks like the game is getting mouse and keyboard input rather than a controller itself.

I had the same issue (both with wired 360 controller and bluetooth generic controller). What eventually fixed it (for both controllers) was either disabling the Windows 10 Game Bar on my host PC, or

Does it fix the input lag of my controller? I've just received yesterday and it has like 200 ms of input lag, it is so frustrating

The FPS goes nicely but SteamLink took like this 200ms to reply to the controller. This makes impossible to play FPShooters.
I am using a LG TV with SmartTV.

Does this Steam Beta update fix this
