I would be interested too. I really have a hard time with this level as it is. I just have no idea how to handle short paths, the lack of strategic variety with those paths (i.e. where to block/maze) and the enemies (from small and fast to large and slow and of course ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of dwarfs).

Its a long time since I played ( I came to check the news about DW2) but threre should be hints here at the boards. I remember clearing the last few lanes by selling almost everything and with the money, dropping boxes on enemies to kill them off.

I did it. I think the key were summoners. I mazed using an S-curve. In the last wave I sold a lot to save for barricades. I had to use some barricades throughout the game.

Even though I put a lot of points in lives I only had 4 left at the end. So it was really close.

To get 6 runes I used 3x Freeze, 3xInferno, 1xLightning and a single soul harvester along the top of the T shaped bit in the middle (both sides) after using crates to control their flow and make a long passage and several lich to block the end. Plus a bolt trap at each end pointing down the corridor to help kill off any survivors.

Then the sides are fairly straight forward with a lich anf a couple of spring traps and the odd push trap.

Never bothered with inferno or freeze on any other levels, but on this one they made it so much easier.

You will have to mop up towards the end by dropping crates, but should have plenty of money by then.

Also definitely don't want the health regen rune.

I totally love how many varied yet valid strategies there in this game.

Also, when using the "halves trap level" rune, only upgrade these to an even number (not as shown in my pic!) as the odd level has no effect due to being halved!

It's quite a tricky one; I just managed to get 6 runes with some leaks (and the achievement).
I was already at lvl 72; so able to Max out a few traps...

With this, I can hold the major lane in the center through the entire game but I have trouble with the right side leaks. Maybe use Blackhole to pile up the mobs and drop a box on them to insta-kill them all at once to thin it out.
Use Firebombs so you can kill the growing mob that get stuck in the middle. Frost on the right side upgraded to freeze, no need to max out the black hole; I like to max out the gold trinket right away. Masteries to 30 for most things just so I can get upgrades on certain items and the one block likes to get destroyed by the Dwarves near the Blackhole.

Additionally/alterantively, don't use the "1 life" rune so you can dump a lot of gems into extra lives and just tank your way through it. Of course you can't use the "3 towers" dealio either.
