Small suggestions
I love your game guys, great job so far. Im currently lvl 40 and i'm trying to finish all the maps with 8 runes on, these difficulty modifiers are awesome. I know the game is in alpha stage right now so you are in the middle of the process of polishing the game but id like to suggest some minor things:
1. Harpoon trap (the worst trap imo, utterly useless), inferno trap (damages your demons and have such a a small range), and freezing trap (shoots too slow or maybe it needs more range, slime trap is so much better, because it slows all the approaching enemies) need buffs to bring them on par with other traps.
2. Trinity rune is very rewarding to use but i personally think it hurts the tactical aspect of the game too much (in the most maps you need barricades anyway, so you are left with only two traps to go with); maybe consider changing it so that its possible to take one more item with you.
3. I'd like to see a minimap of a level im about to play when hovering my mouse over it in the level select screen, there are so many maps available (and more to come, i'm sure :D) to remember the layouts.
4. I dont know if its a bug or intended mechanism but sometimes when i fail a map on the last wave and quit it, its shown as a level completed with 8 runes, while in fact it wasnt compleated at all :P.

Thanks for the suggestions, Narol! We'll see what we can do. As for the number 4, we were unable to reproduce the bug. Please do provide us with more details when it happens again.

Number four happened twice so far. Once on Catacombs map and the second time on Arena map. I've completed most maps and now i'm replaying the game with all 8 difficulty runes on. Both times in game exactly the last monster got to the portal. I remember it well because on the catacombs level it was this big golem-like enemy and somehow my traps didn't manage to push him into a pit, even though earlier my set up worked well against these enemies. So, defeat screen appeared and i clicked continue, to select different map. I was suprised to see that the catacombs icon on the map screen showed it was compleated with 8 runes (my exp record says 266885 so exp is calculated as if i won the map). Later the same thing happened on Arena level. I assumed that the icons on the map select screen change with difficulty (runes) setting chosen after you finish a level, but now that I think about it I didn't check if you get a different icon with better exp record on a level, so sorry if i'm just mistaken, and everything works as intended :P

I think the harpoon trap is fine, I use it to kill single units that get through or thin out waves of heavies (of course you have to upgrade it to lvl 3 for it to do that effectively). I agree that it´s a weak trap alone but it´s also the cheapest one, so you can place it in groups.

Strangely enough my inferno traps don´t seem to hurt my demons. Was it changed later?

The trap I have yet to find a use for is the lightning trap. I don´t know what I could use it for that couldn´t be done better with other traps. Maybe use it to thin out some waves but for that I could just use the spike trap and it hits harder.

The harpoon is fine in my opinion. You just have to use them in groups and in my opinion never overlap their ranges because then they almost always target the same enemy resulting in a rather depressing tug of war between themselves. So just line one side of the path with them and you'll be fine.

You are right guys, harpoons can be used successfully, its not all bad. I'll try to experiment with harpoons more. The biggest issue I have with them, however, is that if I can take only 3 traps with me I never take harpoon trap. It doesnt deal with enemies as good as the other traps do. There are better traps out there :P Maybe if harpoon traps could target more than one enemy after upgrades or something.

Yea, inferno traps no longer burn my demons, must have been changed without a patch note or I'm going insane :P

If i remember correctly, I've completed Arena map with all 8 runes using only lightning traps and snares :P

I'd like to suggest that more traps could have a 4th tier with 15 points invested into them. Lightning trap could target even more enemies, harpoon could pierce 2 enemies, etc.

Also another suggestion: it would be cool if there was something like a challange mode where you enter a map with a preset of traps, so that you'd have to experiment with traps which you normally wouldn't use on a map :D

I have used harpoons with trinity. On some levels they're very good but that's never due to the trap itself, always the map layout.
