Common Route Twist Makes No Sense
So in the common route, the twist is that Madeleine gets frammed for Dolores's treachary by King and Queen/Wisdom. And in Gascon's route, one possible dialogue involves the Wisidom blaming Madeleine for not accepting their chosen events of the story since this would involve no one dying.

Ummm... that makes no sense. Why should the life of a traitor prove more valuable than the career prospects of a woman who did her job as she was supposed and did not negativly get in the way of the local crown's affairs?

Unlike traiterous nobles, executing traiterous staff should be done without repercussions. And even if the royal family owed her something for past services, I'd say that debt is forfeit by anyone who is willing to blackmail you over that.

Of course, we don't have a story otherwise...

As a side note. Haivng son-in-laws rule as kings is a nice twist to sthe setting. Many of the inverted gender stnadards just reverse everything (like daughters before sons for ruling). Also, I have no idea why this wasn't the case in the real middle ages. No woman ever had to ask "is this child mine or is my husband cheating on me and trying to pass this kid as mine?"

You need to play the other routes. You don't have all the pieces of the story yet.
