I think you should make a new control scheme for the next game for undoing moves and controlling the camera.

I think you should use the scroll wheel to go back and forth through the moves you made. So you scroll down to undo a move and scroll up to redo a move.

With panning the camera I think you should hold the middle mouse button and drag. To zoom I think you should hold the right mouse button and drag up and down to zoom in and out.
