Future development possible? Or perhaps an Oriental Empires II?
I'm running into the late-mid game and I'm starting to hit a population wall. At around 160, overcrowding reoccurs and there's a need to further upgrade the settlement but there's no more upgrades left beyond city. I haven't even finished the farms yet. I could probably easily hit 250 pops per settlement.

So the question is, whether or not there's a possibility of further content being added or even an Oriental empires II on the horizon? Honestly I'd pay fair money for an expansion at this point.

It seems like it will never happen. If you dig a bit the developer talked about it in this forum a while ago.

Sadly I don't have either the team or the funding to do another OE, though I do think about it from time to time.

>: ] Try poaching some of the bizzard crew. They might be open to it. mwahahaha.

Jokes aside, that's too bad. I really get into the game until that point. it's really well made in general and the combat system, while a little clunky is also both phenomenal and unique. I want more.

I would support on kickstarter, I'm sure lots of others would too

I've repeatedly tried to get more people interested in this game. Even if another one doesn't ever happen, I hope that it will at least influence someone to make another game in a similar setting, with a similar framework. The mix of real time battles...sort of, with 4X, with a lot of logistical needs is rare. Koei has done some kind of similar, but they are always so absurdly romanticized and gameified they miss how actual warfare works, and it is like...overwhelmingly about the limitations of the lands you have, the food you have, and the need to keep peasants working while not running out of money if you instead hire troops. Most games miss this, and are just stat simulators between your heroes by mid game.
