BUGS & MISTAKES - Put them here!
I figure there will be a myriad of errors and minor issues that are worth sharing. If the game simply gets something wrong, here's a place to throw it up.

Here is a mistake I ran into regarding the special tiles:
Letters:
G, A, T, T, *, Ing

Expected word:
"Gattling"

Result:
Game does not recognize valid word.

This.

Gatling is the name of a gun, but it's (a) one T, and (b) a proper noun. I'm not aware of gattling being the past participle of some verb "gattle" in the way you might have rattling or battling.

"If Same Letters Together" often triggers when it shouldn't.

It doesn't appear to be possible to use certain upgrade cards while using a controller, since I can't drag tiles over to them.
Had a bug where the "change the tile to a consonant with rised value" did in not rise the value of the new tile :) (happened once)
If it helps: the new tile was an "R" (i think i gave a way a Z or an X)
Occasionally tool tips remain visible even when I am no longer hovering over the item, and on at least one occasion I was unable to find anyway to remove it.

I may not have understood the rule, but I couldn't detect anything subtracting when in a "vowels subtract from your score" round.

Also, this may be working as intended, but it felt pretty lousy when getting the modifier that refreshes your upgrades. It didn't refresh the upgrade I already had at the time the modifier was chosen.

I sold a modifier and selected the "Gain a Play on Refresh" modifier for the last round, and the card for it persisted throughout the round (the round itself was still playable, though).
Hope I'm not going insane but 'vaping' doesn't seem to be valid. Might be to do with the special round "words shorter than six letters score zero points", but I swear I've counted the number of letters in vaping two dozen times.
Drag and drop for upgrades doesn't work when playing with controllers (also not very accessible friendly). Suggest being able to click on upgrade then click on tile.

Using B button on controller for replacing all tiles isn't great as it is traditionally used for back. Several times I tried to navigate from modifier or upgrade sidebars using B, only to accidentally waste a redeal of tiles. Suggest swapping B and X button functionality.

Feature request: add community dictionary packs. This will allow the community to fill in the dictionary as well as extend it with other languages and slang etc

Sometimes when I hover over a modifier / upgrade, the overlay lingers for too long (like more than 10 seconds)

the bonus perk where you get a 2x multiplier for starting a word with a vowel seems to not work all the time

I played the demo, loved it, became HORRIBLY addicted. Here are my QOL suggestions.
1. When a word is valid and put on the board, it should turn green without you needing to submit. This cuts down on the number of clicks, allows you to spam letters until you find something if you're stuck, and makes it so you don't have to play that word out just to see if it's valid. Maybe if the word is valid, the game could also display the point total you'll get when you hit submit?
2. The game should track all the words you've correctly submitted in the past. If one of those words pops up on a future board, it will appear on the right or the left side of the board as an auto-fill option. You can delete the word if you don't want to see it, or you can disable this feature in options.
3. An auto-sort function. I keep having to move tiles around to put all the vowels at the bottom in some semblance of order and the high value tiles up top. Some way to sort the tiles by points, alphabetical order, vowels on bottom/top, these would all be great additions.
4. A way to disable the tutorial. Seeing it every game is a little tiring.

These are my suggestions, and I will be buying this game when you release it! Also can't wait for mobile release... this will kill my work efficiency but it's just retail anyway so who cares?

When using the power up that lets you swap a tile for another tile, +1 was not always added to the tile score
When you get the Golden Tile modifier, you are supposed to be able to apply it to 3 tiles. But if you apply it to the same tile twice, the game miscounts that as 2 applications, so you end up only being able to apply it to 2 tiles.

I noticed this while trying to figure out how to change the tiles that I had applied it to (there's no way to do this, which seems like an oversight).
I had a weird interaction when opening an extra tile slot during a special round where the first letter of each word was locked (this may also be combining with the 'glass tile' upgrade, as the glass letter lives here until used).

Basically, when I shuffled the tiles, one of my letters ended up permastuck in the word, and couldn't return to the grid because there was no matching letter slot for it. I did manage to put it elsewhere in the word, but then the game wouldn't let me submit the word. (The locked first letter was R, my stuck letter was U. Started in the second slot, I then moved it to the third but couldn't submit REUSE).

Eventually I tried to refresh my tiles, at which point the game crashed.
