This story begins with an out-of-left-field premise: two neighboring big families suddenly decide, "Let's swap one kid and live like that for three months." A time-limited cohabitation brings everyday distance down to "0," shakes up relationships with childhood friends all at once, and makes love, jealousy, and housework feel like someone floored the accelerator. While fully committing to comedy on top of this absurd setup, it still returns to genuine romantic sweetness at key moments, keeping an exquisite balance throughout.

The game is a choice-driven novel format, where your selections change how conversations unfold and how the ending turns out. The common route's momentum feels like "everyone is loud," yet once you enter an individual route, the sense of distance with each heroine suddenly closes in, and goofy daily life turns directly into foreshadowing for romance. Rapid-fire gags and back-and-forth retorts, expressions that collapse to match the scene, and so-called "meme-like face gags" hit hard, making it the kind of work that can get a chuckle out of you even if you are just reading along.

A defining trait here is how the heroines' cuteness coexists with how far the expressions go. Sweet scenes are properly sweet, and stupid scenes are stupid to the extreme. Because that contrast exists, the romantic events gain stronger relative presence, and the H scenes also feel like they function as "rewards." It does not rely only on sheer explicitness; you can also see a structure where the accumulation of slapstick chaos sometimes leads into taboo thrills and arousal. The heroines are fully voiced except the protagonist, and it was fun how that made the tempo of the banter accelerate even more.

As an adult title, it feels less like sticky, heavy obsession or a weighty relationship, and more like it pushes through on sheer momentum with "mishaps caused by being too close." Because of that, the H scenes leave a strong impression of being wrapped up brightly as a romantic destination rather than sinking into seriousness.

The current edition released in January 2026 is a refined version that improves playability for modern environments through HD optimization and multilingual support (Japanese/English/Simplified Chinese/Traditional Chinese). Rather than merely bringing the nostalgic vibe as-is, it has been restructured so it can be read at a brisk pace in a modern setup.

On the other hand, the premise itself has "0" realism, so if you expect a more realistic, youth-oriented romance, there is a chance it will not fit. Also, because the density of laughs is high, it is not the type that lets you savor a moist, lingering aftertaste for long. Whether your sense of humor clicks with it is the biggest dividing line, and that will likely be the deciding factor.

[Version history] It gained popularity with the 2011 PC version, then was ported to PSP in 2013 (in exchange for removing 18+ depictions, two new heroines were added, and two supporting characters were promoted to romanceable targets). The 2014 Vita version followed the PSP content while improving playability with better visuals and touch support. 隣同士の大家族が「子どもを1人交換して3か月暮らそう」と言い出す、いきなり斜め上からの導入からスタートする物語。期間限定の同居が日常の距離を「0」にし、幼なじみ達との関係が一気に揺れ、恋も嫉妬も家事も全部まとめて一気にアクセルが掛かったように展開していく。このような突飛な設定を前提とし徹底してコメディへ振り切りつつ、要所ではきちんと恋愛の甘さへ戻ってくるという絶妙なバランスが保たれている作品となっている。

ゲームは選択肢つきのノベル形式で、選び方で会話の展開やエンディングが変化する。共通ルートの勢いは「全員うるさい」感じなのに、個別に入ると各ヒロインの距離感が急に近くなり、ふざけた日常がそのまま恋愛の伏線に変わる。速射ギャグとツッコミの応酬、場面に合わせて崩れる表情、いわゆる「ネットミームっぽい顔芸」が強烈で、読み進めているだけでもクスッと来るタイプだ。

本作の特徴は、ヒロイン達の可愛さと、表情の「振り切れ」っぷりが共存している点。甘い場面はちゃんと甘く、くだらない場面は徹底的にくだらない。その落差があるからこそ、恋愛イベントの相対的な存在感が高まり、Hシーンも「ご褒美」として機能するように感じる。露骨さだけで引っ張るのではなく、ドタバタの積み重ねが時には背徳や昂りに繋がっていく構造もみられる。主人公以外のヒロイン達はフルボイスで、掛け合いのテンポがさらに加速するのも楽しかった。

成人向けとして見ると、湿度高めの執着や重い関係性よりも、「距離が近すぎて起きる事故」をノリで押し切る感覚。だからこそ、Hの場面もシリアスに沈むより、恋愛の到達点として明るくまとめる印象が強い。

2026年1月リリースの現行版はHD画質への最適化と多言語対応（日本語/英語/簡体字/繁体字）で、今の環境に合わせて遊びやすさを整えたリファイン版だ。懐かしいノリをそのまま持ってくるだけでなく、現代の環境でテンポよく読めるような再構築がなされている。

一方で、設定そのものは現実味「0」なので、リアル寄りの青春恋愛を期待すると合わない可能性がある。また、笑いの密度が高いぶん、しっとりした余韻を長く味わうタイプではない。プレイヤーのノリが合うかどうかが最大の分岐点で、ここがハマるかどうかが分かれ目となるだろう。

【バージョン変遷】2011年のPC版で人気を得て、2013年にPSPへ移植（18禁描写なしの代わりに新規ヒロイン2人追加、サブキャラ2人が攻略対象に昇格）。2014年のVita版はPSP版の内容を踏襲しつつ、画質向上やタッチ操作対応で遊びやすさを整えた。今回の2026年Steam版は、HD画質への最適化と多言語対応で間口を広げたリファイン版という位置づけとなっている。
