Apologies for the late reply and sorry to hear that you have been getting connection issues.
If the issue started after an update, it's possible there are some left-over files causing problems. Try the following steps:
1. Clear Cache Folders
Sometimes, leftover or corrupted files in cache folders can interfere with the game. Please try the following:
Clear Steam Cache folder
Clear Ubisoft Connect PC Cache[www.ubisoft.com]
Also, clear your system’s temporary files by pressing Win + R, typing %temp%, and deleting the files in that folder.
If these steps do not help you, please follow our connectivity guide:
Troubleshooting connectivity issues on PC[www.ubisoft.com]
Additionally, we recommend flushing your DNS[www.ubisoft.com] to clear any potential network conflicts.
If you have access to your router’s settings, here are a few advanced adjustments you can try:
Security Level: If set to High or Strict, try lowering it by one level.
UPnP (Universal Plug and Play): Make sure this is enabled to allow automatic port forwarding.
IPv6: If your router defaults to IPv6, try switching to IPv4. After making the change, restart your router and relaunch the game.
You can also improve your connection by switching to a public DNS provider:
Google DNS: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
Cloudflare DNS: 1.1.1.1
These DNS options are often faster and more reliable depending on your location. If you're unsure how to change DNS settings, there are many step-by-step guides available online for both PC and router configurations.
The game has become unplayable for me now.
It's sad because I was actually really enjoying it.
The kick happens whenever I want to play with friends and it's most definitely an issue server side. Not client side.
Actual ubisoft support is terrible btw, never got a response.
Also, are you being disconnected and receiving this error when playing solo too, or only when you're playing with your friends?
Thank you for your patience.
To specify I've been able to play games solo, but whenever I joined a game with friends it would immediately remove me with the same error. Every subsequent removal also counted as leaving the match so my honour rating went from the best to 'okay'. Obviously with stacking bans I've not played anymore.
