Also, this is the only object in the game with this issue, I didn't notice it on anything else.
You can see the feathers and the radials of the spearhead when viewing it from Kimahri's left side, but looking at it fromt he opposing side makes those parts invisible.
Knowing how texturing and such works, It's more likely that when they did the HD remaster, they forgot to connect something and someone didn't check their work. Lazy texture artist issue. Very unlikely to be an actual bug.
And that nobody has necroed this thread in the past 5 years should also be a hint.

It's mildly annoying, but it really isn't a big deal, all things considered. Doubly so because who even uses Kimahri at that stage of the game :P
I'm playing on SteamDeck and I'm getting the same glitch, is this something that's happening on other GPUs?
I'm just wondering if it's from the GPU drivers.
YOU could fix it. Read tutorials on modding, rip the textures, replace them, make a mod for everyone to fix this issue. Why don't you do that? ;)
"You could spend some of your time and money fixing it?"
"SO RUDE, BLOCKED!"
Rofl. Never change, internet people ;)
Thanks for the reply.
I actually contacted Square-Enix customer support about this bug last month.
They said "we'll check the bug, maybe we'll make a patch", but after I contacted them I was thinking that maybe this is a GPU driver derived bug (i.e. Square Enix can't fix it), so I'm relieved to know this isn't the case!
