Can't start Black Mesa on Linux
Hello!

This is a new installation, I've never played Black Mesa but always wanted to. I'm playing on a Linux system from which I can play many other titles without any issues using Proton. Black Mesa seems to be the exception.

Every time I want to launch the game, I get a popup with the "Out of memory or address space. Texture quality setting may be too high." error.

I have no mods (as I've said, fresh install) and I would believe my system requirements are good:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 4800H with Radeon Graphics
GPU: NVIDIA Corporation TU106M [GeForce RTX 2060 Mobile] (rev a1)
Mem: 16GB (and 16GB swap but it never even gets to that stage)

I have tried many different startup options, to no avail:

I have also verified the installed files and restarted Steam several times.

The end result is always the same. The game does not even launch, just shows a popup with that message. Here is what I see on one of my runs when running Steam from the console (running it by doing ./bms_linux.sh yields the same result):

The only thing I can think of affecting this is the fact that I'm using an external monitor on this laptop, at 5120x1440 resolution (with the laptop display turned off).

Any help will be appreciated.

I only can play black mesa on Linux Mint 21, but on Nobara with Fedora I cant , so I think is problem with Kernel.
