2024 is slowly coming to a close and Black Mesa still is patently unplayable on Linux
We get a joke of a "port" - utterly graphically broken (toGL!) - and consistent crashes on Proton thanks to the ancient 32-bit binaries the game runs on combined with bad coding practices. Developers are having fun creating post-launch content and we're left in the dust. When will the devs start giving a ♥♥♥♥?

Well CC went and made me look like a fool. Still - it's not perfect, but the game being playable (as far as I can tell, haven't encountered any issues) on native Linux again is very good.

Im unable to play on linux as well. This is happening for months now. Every launchoption is bringing slightly different results but always a broken game.

With console and logs enabled I can see lots of red text but I have no clue where to find a logfile after trying to start a level and crashing/stuck with repeating sound and blank screen.

I'm on Linux too and the game performance is messed up. I'm just going to do a refund. I even just tried the beta they announced on Oct 31 and there were no launch options like they talked about. i don't get it and this isn't worth my time.
