The native Linux version has definitely improved with this new update, but I was expecting it to run at least on par with the proton/windows version. I get significantly better fps with proton compared to native, both on my main PC and steam deck. Its not that big of a deal, the patch notes just made it seem like the native version was the definitive version on Linux. I do appreciate that the game still gets the attention it deserves!
