Not sure if this is a bug or I'm missing something, but towards what I assume is the end of the Focal Point mission, with the giant pulsing green energy ball across a chasm I'm not sure what to do. I have retrieved a yellow power crystal from the floating platforms, installed it in the emplaced gun it powers, and blown up the 4 platforms around the green ball that were shooting at me. After doing this, nothing happens and I'm unable to progress. I can't find any way to cross the chasm, go back where I came from (the door is shut and doesn't open) or do anything else except die trying to cross the chasm. I've shot everything I can think of with the gun emplacement, rockets, and satchels with no luck. Does anyone know what I'm missing or is there a bug in which something is supposed to happen after blowing up the platforms that didn't in my case?

PS there are 4 of the armored bug arm aliens still inside their containment cells as well, seems like they should/will be let out at some point.
