Issue starting the game

I don't know if this problem has ever happened to anyone but I can't seem to find a solution anywhere. I just bought the game and everytime I start the game, the game loads for like 2 seconds and then completely freezes. the only way to stop the issue is to ctrl+alt+delete and open the task manager to close the game. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

and see if setting a certain compatibility mode would help by right clicking the MSF_HD.exe file and going in to Properties, then in to Compatibility and from there changing the Compatibility mode to run the game for example on windows 7 mode.

3. In the game files try changing the settings in the options.txt file by opening it with Notepad.
In the options.txt file you can specify what resolution for the game to run on and change the windowed mode to either on or off by typing "true" for ON and "false" for OFF.
Be sure to type the true or false with out the quotation marks marks.

Also are you on Windows 10?

I'm running Win7 but I did the first thing you suggested me to do and its working, Thank you so much!
