Does this game support custom controllers or does it just accept Xbox controls like Pirate's Curse?

I wouldn't be surprised if it just accepts Xbox controllers. The keyboard controls aren't horrible, but nothing beats a controller when you're playing a platformer.

Only xbox controllers.

Tried using logitech profiler to map the pad buttons to keyboard imput and caused the game to crash.

Had to use xpadder to use my gamepad.

So the logitech f310 I have isn't going to work then?

This will work just fine as long as your input switch is set to Xinput.

I tried both my 360 controller and my F310 logitech gamepad, both work like a charm so no need to worry about controller compability.

That's because both of these are Xinput controllers.

A Dinput controller probably wouldn't work, since there is no way to configure the buttons in-game and all the prompts use Xinput's AB/XY buttons.

For these older controllers, you'd need something like Xpadder to map the buttons to keys.

Only keyboard controls can be changed.
