The game goes waaaaaaaay too fast. I can't play like this. [FIXED]

So, I just got the game but I can barely play it. The speed of the game is all over the place. 6 seconds is basically 30 seconds in the game. I cant even move without dying on the first level spikes.

Is this a V-Sync problem or something? Need help asap.

EDIT: Just forced v-sync on my nvidia controler for the game.
