Problem with generic Controller in Arcade machine
Hi everyone. I have an Arcade1Up Street Fighter 2 machine at home which I turned into a retro gaming arcade using a raspberry pi 4. Also I got new buttons and sticks (https://www.amazon.com/-/de/dp/B07JFXQSM5/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=arcade+buttons+and+joystick&qid=1669197586&sprefix=arcade+buttons+%2Caps%2C173&sr=8-3) They work fine with the raspberry pi and Batocera. Now I want to replace the raspberry with a small ITX Ryzen 3400g to play 2D Steam games with the arcade. The problem is that I cannot configure the controller the way I want to. The controller is detected bei Steam (Generic USB DragonRise), but the directions are switched, so up is down and vice versa. When I try to configure the controller correctly, Steam seems to detect only one axis, so when I configure up (axis 0) and left (axis 1), this is immediately deleted when I configure down (this is axis 0 then) and right (this is axis 1 then). Up/down left/right worked perfectly fine with raspberry and Batocera.
Does anyone know how to configure the controls correctly? Is there a fix/or is this maybe a common problem? Btw. I'm using Linux Zorin, but this seems more like a Steam controller problem to me.
I havn't bought the 3400g yet, I only tried it first with my laptop to see if this would generally work.

Help is verry appreciated :-)

Thank you
