Second 8bitdo SN30 Pro+ controller
I’ve used CC successfully for the last 3 years with my original controller, but the controller seems to be on its last legs so I bought a new one (same model).
I can play games with the new controller because Steam recognizes the controller without any hiccups, but I can’t run my desktop with it because CC isn’t connecting with it.
I tried finding tutorials, but to no avail. Please help 🙏

Found it: you have to start the controller in XInput mode.
SN30 pro+ controllers can be started in 4 different modes, you start the XInput mode by holding down Start+X when powering on the controller.
From there, controller companion picked up the controller directly
