Controller Companion

Controller Companion

Can this make an app ignore controller input?
So i got a niece who wants to play something with me.

I got a controller, 2 monitors and a strong PC.

My intention: Run a application that has online play twice on the PC. (Pseudo split-screen)

One uses Keyboard input the other one uses Controller input.

I know that the app will read controller input no matter if its active or not. (unlike with the keyboard)

Keyboard input would be active window while inactive window would use controller.

The issue is that i need to disable the controller input for the active window but the app the app has no option to ignore the controller.

I was thinking to perhaps use a third party programm and thats what lead me to Controller Companion.

Since it costs money i wanted to ask first.

I don't think it's possible with this software (don't take my word for it though), but what you're trying to do could work with Nucleus Coop. Takes a bit to set up but it basically simulates split screen by running several instances of an application and distributing different input devices between different windows. And yes it works with different monitors, but not sure if it's compatible with your specific game.
