One common annoyance using a wireless controller on PC is that when the batteries die, the game keeps going without you, often leading to disaster. Consoles usually pause automatically when this happens.

I was thinking that this would be a killer feature for Controller Companion to implement. As soon as the controller disconnects, CC could automatically send a key (eg. escape). The game would pause and you could change the batteries and carry on.
