Chatpad in World of Warcraft
I can use the chatpad fine outside of games, and to my understanding the chatpad should work in games that support Controller Companion, but for some reason I cannot use the chatpad properly in WoW.
I can use the controller fine, and the chatpad has some limited functionality - I can press the space key, and if I press the enter key it opens the chat window and allows me to type, but the rest of the time the keys don't work. Is there any way to fix this?

i dont think that works like that. atleast it never did. you could only use the native input or the chatpad. not both. but its been awhile since i used it.

It is possible.
At the bottom of this guide is explained how to change the "ChatpadBindings.cfg":

In the "ChatpadBindings.cfg" you just have to change all >str< to >key< (only for actual keys).

keyboard 0 0 2 @ D1: str 1 --> keyboard 0 0 2 @ D1: key 1
keyboard 1 0: str q --> keyboard 1 0: key q
