Are you saying that the game is fullscreen no matter if the switch is enabled or disabled? As in you're not getting the window frame of your operating system if you disable fullscreen?
What operating system are you running on?
Regarding the headache. Do you get similar headache from any other effects or animations in this and other games? Or is it just this one in specific? I'm thinking what kind of accessibility options we could offer to reduce effects like this.
Yep, the game does stay fullscreen, just the numbers showing the resoultion change from "1920 x 1080" to "1918 x 1078" (I actually never encountered the latter anywhere).
My OS is Windows 11 Pro version 24H2
The headache thing may be slightly exaggerated, as it's only a very short sequence, but I am sensitive to such blur effects as my eyes instantly try to adjust. I experience similar problems when for example looking at anaglyphic pictures without the matching glasses. That's a problem that runs in the family.
We will add an accessibility option to disable the blur effects.
