One of the most unhinged Games I ever played. Took all the things missing from the first Game and put it to great use here. Lot's of laughter, dept and surprises. Definitly amongst the best Dating Sims and FMVs ever made.

Season 2 somehow hit even harder than the first one.
I got way too attached to these characters again — didn’t think that was possible.
The writing caught me off guard more than once, and by the end I honestly didn’t want it to be over.

Finished everything, felt everything.
Massive respect to the devs for delivering a sequel that actually hurts (in a good way).

The game is peak, i love all my wifes

Ah yes, the continuation of our story living with several lovely Korean girls in a single house. Just as the title suggests, this expands on the adventures of the first game where you can resolves some feelings that were left unchecked. With so many ladies to choose from though it is up to you to figure out how to live out your days peacefully with everyone!

The story. You are Yuman and you wake up from a sort of coma! After waking up you find yourself entangled with several favorites from season 1 to include Malsook, Grand, and Minjung alongside newcomers Yuna, Yoojung, and Gyuri. Craziness ensues as each girl battles for your love and attention while you also try to figure out what it is that you want to do with your life. The story expands depending on which love interest you pursue but this is your standard harem in a small house as you try to solve everyone's problems all the same time!

The cast. We'll start off with childhood friend, Malsook, who is just as feisty as she was from the first game. She no longer works at the internet cafe which was a part of her identity, so now where does this lead her? In my opinion her character had the most dramatic change and her story has a lot of focus compared to the rest. Like her bad ending really makes you feel terrible! Next up is last season's #1 girl, Gran, who comes later in the story. Compared to last season I felt she didn't have as much spotlight and is reduced to a background support with jokes of someone often trying to replace you in the office. Lets remember that the job she gave to you was vital to you paying for the house so it was kinda weird that we didn't get as much emphasis on her arc this time around. Now I'd like to talk about the celebrity, Minjung, who is now a solo artist now struggling with fame and cancel culture. Compared to the rest of the cast, her character often generates the most affection towards Yuman no matter what we do so it feels her character is presented as a "don't worry at least she loves you" option in case no one else likes you since it's so easy to get her to like you. She does have a decent arc though where she grows to be more confident in herself. Next, let's talk about the nurse, Gyuri, who is my personal favorite. She's goofy, hardworking, and very caring. She introduces the concept of seeing someone outside of their workplace whom you often only ever see them in their workplace. If you follow her arc she can lead you down some VERY interesting paths which can be hilarious so try it out if you dare. Then there is the heiress, Yuna, who is the cause of your coma. Despite her mistake she has shown that she is very responsible and wants to take care of you. Although she follows the trope of rich girl being rebellious by loving you, she is seen as the polar opposite of Malsook. When you play her story you'll probably understand what I mean. Lastly, there is workaholic, Yoojung. She unfortunately suffers the same treatment as Gran where she is pushed to the background while also having the same status as Minjung where she is near impossible to not have like you as her choices don't often counteract others. Yoojung is a quiet person that has only ever relied on herself which is why you'll see her doing odd jobs throughout the game. Maybe because there are 6 love interests that the story feels kinda sparse and some of the characters don't get the chance to shine. I'd say that less is more to where they could've kept it to at least 4 where they gave the main cast a lot of time to develop and spend with Yeman, but hey that's just my opinion. You'll notice that other characters aren't around anymore like Eunbi, however they do have mentions of her if you are a fan so don't be disheartened! If you also liked Sausage Man you may have to look for him unless you want to settle for Mr. Bodyguard.

The mechanics. The affection and item system from season 1 are still around so if you're wanting to unlock hidden content then be sure to hunt for those! The ranking system is as popular as ever, hopefully Gyuri is still #1! As mentioned earlier with the story pathing dependent on whom you pursue, you'll often find yourself at game overs in the story. In my opinion this can kinda cool especially if you are fully devoted to the love interest you are pursuing but can be kinda annoying for folks that want to proceed with the story but intended choosing the route with boosting the character's affection in mind. Because of that the game can feel kind of linear with some obvious paths being the only path. It's cool also getting to see the behind the scenes and interviews with each of the actresses to hear the mindset behind their character!

In summary, I found FHUOR season 2 to be enjoyable although due to having it's own particular charm that it's new cast brings in mixture with the old cast. Character development didn't feel equivalent for all but perhaps that could be due to lack of time for filming and writing. All the ladies are super lovely though and I enjoyed every minute watching them in action! Overall, I give the game an 8/10!

I've played the first one and loved it, then bought the second one (this one) and loved it just as much. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

- While FHUOR1 felt like a cohesive story, FHUOR2 is a series of vignettes with little story connection
- No sausage man ending
- Worse English translation (though far from unintelligble)
- Gran has had a personality transplant since the first game (or is heavily medicated)
- Mal-sook is still the worst character by a country mile
- Like Gran, Mingming is boring and underused
- Yu-jeong doesn't get enough screen time
- Yu-na and Gyu-ri are excellent
- Easier to progress the story and earn achievements compared to FHUOR1
- Returning minor characters from FHUOR1 are arguably better than four of the six girls
- Works out of the box on Linux

I loved it as much as part 1, Gran and Mal-Sook are still the wifeys that I love the most since part 1, their come back was the reason I wanted to get this game so much. Yu-na, Yoo-Jung and Min-jung are alright as well, didn't actually like Gyu-Ri, she didn't fit this game at all.
