Steam Next Fest October is over and GOBLIN SUSHI is going crazy! 🍣

The game had over 16'000 total demo players during the festival, which is crazy to us! Thank you so much!

We just want to thank you for all the support! It is incredibly motivating for us to read how you all enjoy playing our game. And all the feedback and bug-reports you sent our way! It is very important for us to hear from all of you what you like about game and what you don't like so much, so we can shape it into the best experience it can be! ✨

There is a lot of great feedback, we have read all of. Next to all the small things we are going to adjust, the two biggest features you requested that we are currently working on are:

• Meta progression, progress outside of a run

• Difficulty Settings, play easier or harder (or extreme)

With the end of the next fest, the Steam Key Giveaway is also coming to and end. We are currently checking all the entries and will be selecting the lucky 100 who will get a full game key for GOBLIN SUSHI! The winners will get a message from us very soon!

We are so excited about you all playing so much and having a lot of fun. Also you are amazing at finding random bugs and exploits! So we are dropping a small patch to fix some of the most game breaking issues that you were having. Here is the complete list of all the changes we made!

• Make “Full of Rice” a golden card.

• Make “Rice loves Nori” a purple card.

• Reduce the value of “Rice loves Nori” to +0.03 from +0.05 for each rice.

• Fix Performance issues that occurred when using the “Full of Rice” and “Rice loves Nori” cards.

• Fix Landlord Tutorial breaking the game.

• Fix putting back ingredients during mat sushi construction can lead to infinite ingredients.

• Fix finished grilled dishes on the grill turn to burnt poop upon saving and loading the game.

• Fix re-roll sometimes not giving you options, if you are down to one option.

• Add QQ Channel link to main menu.

Ghost goblin mechanic:
When the ghost goblin eats a dish he will leave behind a ghost copy of that dish. This ghost copy can then be eaten by another goblin.

The Ghost Goblin will be part of the big demo update that will be released on the 13th of October for the Steam Next fest!

Hey everybody,

Thanks for checking out our game Goblin Sushi!
We first had the idea for this game, when we talked about how much we loved playing these cheap restaurant web browser games as kids.

The game is still early in development, but we want to share with you as much as possible in the process. A first DEMO is planned to launch at the end of this week!
