MODDING IS AND SHOULD BE FREE!
Modding is what keeps the community together and keeps these games relevant so many years after the release.
Please, Bethesda, give us a separate branch option so players can choose when (or if) to update. That way, we don’t have to worry about every new patch breaking mod compatibility.
Fallout and Skyrim are thriving because of the modding community. Constantly forcing updates just frustrates everyone, modders and players alike.
Setting up optional branches in Steam takes just a few minutes through the Steamworks menu. It’s a simple solution where everyone wins. Please, listen to your community. 🙏
