Updating your game is cool, but breaking mods is not.
So, unless you eventually learn how to set up a beta branch on Steam, I’ll keep updating my Universal Downgrader to roll back every update you release.
For the love of all things holy, Bethesda, stop updating games that are over a decade old. We saw this with Skyrim where you decided to cram an anniversary edition update down everyone's throats in 2021, breaking everyone's mods, and you did the same thing again with this game last year and then you did it again this year.
The modding community is the backbone of your games that keeps them relevant after all these years, and instead of paying respects to those who dedicate hours out of passion to their projects, you mock them.
Just set up a separate branch so we can have a choice whenever if we want to update to the latest build or not, and don't have to worry about a update breaking mod compatibility. How hard is it?
We have had enough.
Then an MMO.
Then a TV show.
Now a reality show.
Everything but a new singleplayer game bro.

Seriously, no one is interested in some reality TV show. Every newspost you guys post has 0 upvotes, take a hint and give us a new game.
I don’t want Fallout: The Musical or Fallout: The Rollercoaster to be next.
Alternatively, just like Enderal: Forgotten Stories, allow Fallout London to be added to our Steam library so it can be downloaded and played properly. Right now, your approach is completely against the community.
Fallout and Skyrim have been remastered and resold countless times. We are not asking for new versions or constant updates. These games are still alive solely because of the modding community. Yet, while the community clearly asks you to stop pushing updates, you continue to release them and break everything every time. Thousands of mods were rendered unusable overnight.
You recently released Oblivion Remastered, and it is clear that you intend to do the same with older Fallout titles in order to resell them once again. However, the quality of what you deliver is highly questionable. We waited for years for new games, but Starfield turned out to be a complete failure. At this point, neither Fallout 5 nor The Elder Scrolls VI inspires any real confidence. We can only hope you do not ruin these two major projects as well.
You have lost the trust and goodwill of the community. Starfield felt shallow, rushed, and as if it existed only to fill Xbox Game Pass rather than to deliver a meaningful experience.
We do not want overpriced and unnecessary Creation Club content. We do not want endless add-ons or aggressive monetization. What we want is a complete, high-quality main game , like Baldur’s Gate 3 finished and polished from start to end. Please stop interfering with the community and allow players to freely enjoy the games they already paid for, together with mods.
I hope this message finds y'all very well. I want to take a brief moment to discuss the most important aspect of game development right now that will definitely enrich your title, sell more units much faster and foster a deeper connection with your customers, especially with the more traditionally oriented players: the inclusion of LGBTQIA2S+ representation either by updating the game to adhere to generally binding and generally accepted LGBTQIA2S+ standards or through future DLCs which expand the Fallout 4 story arc by including diverse themes.
Fallout 4 is an incredible game with a gripping and convincing world, a rich lore not experienced in other games and a tantalizing story arc, but our time demands to make that world more inclusive by integrating LGBTQIA2S+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, Intersex, Asexual, and Two-Spirit), BLM (Black Lives Matter), a plethora of pronouns, Latinx, BIPoCs (Black People, Indigenous People and People of Color) and DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) elements into the game. Representation in gaming isn't just a trend: it's a way to build richer, more engaging experiences that resonate with a wider audience. When players see characters and storylines that reflect different identities, ubiquitous gender issues, cultures, and experiences, it creates a deeper connection and sense of belonging.
By including LGBTQIA2S+ and diverse perspectives, Fallout 4 could offer a broader range of narratives not yet explored and experienced in any other game, relationships, and choices that add depth and authenticity to its world. Imagine a game where every player, regardless of their sexual and social identity, feels empowered to explore their story. Let's advocate for an inclusive Fallout 4 that champions diversity and ensures that every player can find a piece of themselves in its ever-evolving landscape. In brief: Fallout 4 could be a pioneering game that breaks through traditional gender barriers once and for all!
Please add LGBTQIA2S+ representation to the game, it would mean a lot to people like me. It's not just about representation: it's about making *everyone* feel included. Plus, it will tremendously attract more traditional oriented people to purchase the game.
You can start by adding BIPoC and BLM content and shop items. An in-game currency would be a long overdue addition to the game! Replace traditional horses and bisons with rainbow-colored unicorns, let's cuddle with our arch-enemies instead of killing them, ban all the pistols, guns and weapons from the game, the flags, icons and romances were ... okay-ish, but it's already early 2026 (!!!) and by today's standards it's pretty much the bare minimum. Nowadays, we expect much much more from Fallout 4, especially mandatory microtransactions. Maybe consider hiring me to provide consultation and narrative for the next Trans and BLM characters or future DLCs. Adding additional LGBTQIA2S+ representation to a game is never a bad thing, it's about making *everyone* happy and loved.
Dear developers! Please always keep in mind, that each and every time a game has prioritised modern day politics over story and gameplay, it has been a tremendeous financial and reputational success for your corporate identity, your purse and your shareholders, and it always empowers and motivates your valuable employees to work harder and longer!
At last, please allow me to articulate my discombobulation: I don't understand where all those disgruntled whistle buoys are coming from, who will soon infest this thread and will clog up the whole discussion forum, crying and whining the whole day that you demand $50 for a 14 year old game! Being the absolute masterpiece of gaming history, game development peaked with the release of Fallout 4 in May 2010.
The ungrateful crowd should be grateful that the game is released for the PC at all and that you sell it for so cheap.
The ten of thousands of overwhelmingly positive reviews and the million units you sold in the first few of hours after the Steam release speak for themselves. This is exactly how a successful business works!
Thank you very much from the bottom of my heart for all the hard work you put into this amazing game making it a unique jewel among other games on Steam! I hope Fallout 4 will continue to delight us with never seen before Latinx, LGBTQIA2S+, BLM, BIPoC and DEI content which will never cease to amaze us. Don't worry about negative comments, millions of true fans are enjoying and playing your epic journey everyday thanks to your incredible craftmanship and vision!
Happy Pride everyone, I know Pride Month is over, but everyday is Pride day! Especially today, tomorrow and forever!
Fallout 4, the diverse frontier
These are the voyages of an unknown dude
Its one 187h gaming session
To explore new Trans worlds in the Fallout 4
To seek out new Pronouns
And new BLM and DEI content
To boldly go where no one with Gender Identity Issues has gone before!
Also this concept is soulless and sucks in every way. We don't need another Mr. Beast show.
