Other than that, good job! I'm curious to know how you where able to apply the fix to Ability & Item Panels!
Hey,
ya I probably should have put a little bit of a readme kinda thing but I was dead tired and couldn't be bothered.
So depending on what you're playing,(only Alternate Fantasy, Alternate Fantasy And HD , or vanilla, you take whatever csharp file you need and put it into the
Final Fantasy IX/64x/ff9Data/managed
Or
Final Fantasy IX/86x/ff9Data/managed
Depending on what version you use. If you're not sure, just replace both of em.
I forgot to make one for jus Vanilla with HD, so that wont work at the moment. I'll make one here soon.
Enjoy!
Im working on having it scale better now. Shouldnt be too long. Doing calculations based on resolutions hurts my brain.

- I have similar problem as Dwight shown above. My ATB menu is cut off in windowed mode.
I'm running at 1280x960 btw
- The dark box when PAUSE is glitched for a few seconds before going away.
Thanks for spending time to fix this atrocious UI. I know its difficult, otherwise SE would have fixed it already.
I tried both but didn't saw a difference. ^^
So, the regular version is just Battle UI change.
Second version has little improvments, battle animation speed is slightly faster, just to smooth out the choppyness of the motions. it does speed up ATB barely tho.
Also makes the transistion swirl shorter so it doesnt htake like 5 secs to get into the battle.
Last is the Random Encounter Rate is boosted by about a third, to make it more like the PSX version.
So what I think is going on here, is that, the way I have it scaling and moving the UI pieces is based on a 16:9 resolution, 1920x1080, 1600x900, etc.
Quick fix until i can make the scaling better is just to use one of those resolutions. This works for windowed as well.
Thanks for it. :)
The only other thing I've changed aside from the HD backgrounds is the standalone Beatrix party member mod, so I'm stumped. That shouldn't be related, right?
The black box at start and end is actaully just a smaller version of the fade from black sprite that would normally cover the full screen without Scaled UI, I simply havent found a way to scale it up.
The thing with the skills menu, you should be able to hit the shoulder buttons to realign the skills in the list. I thought i fixed it yesterday but it appears it still happens some other way. Ill look into it.
The thing with the Items list, I have no idea. try to hit the shoulder buttons, or pause/unpause the game.
Either of those seem to be a quick fix until I can figure out a more permanent solution.
As far as the Beatrix standalone mod, I was unaware that there was one without modifying the same file that I modify. My guess is this is somehow whats causing your Items list problem.
Beatrix is availible in AF tho, if you wanna go that route.
