Don't get how to watch SBS youtube videos

I'm playing a SBS youtube video and making it fullscreen and then using (I think it was) F8 to send to headset, but all I get is a garbled mess.

If you have a wide monitor, it currently doesn't split the screen correctly. This will be fixed in the next update. F7 will give you a better experience as well with SBS

Is this the same for playing games with superdepth3d reshade and virtual desktop on a widescreen display? Should i use a different aspect ratio and display resolution? I have 3440 x 1440 ultrawide
