Bad Stuttering?

This application used to run fine for me. However, whenever I open it lately, there is a ton of stuttering. The capture rate is down at 1 fps, the screen jitters/flickers all over the place, and I can't figure out why. It's baffling because it used to work fine before and I don't think I changed anything that'd affect this app and only this app.

I tried fiddling with some steamvr settings, like forcing DX11 and restarting my computer.

GPU: GTX 960
CPU: Intel Core i5-6500
WMR headset

Which VR headset do you have? With that graphics card, I would reduce Supersampling to 1.0X and disable MSAA

I have an HP Windows Mixed Reality headset. Also, I had disabled both

Same headset, well Dell mixed reality headset, and same issue for me. 3070 RTX, AMD Ryzen 5 5600X.

I had the issue yesterday and fixed it by disabling my second monitor, I think it was rendering too much with both, my GPU spikes to 99% or so, but I had it down to 30% afterwards.

Either way, my frames drop to 1-2. Now happening even with my second monitor disabled.

Edit: No idea what I did, started working fine after restarting (3 prior restarts)

ok, the app hasn't changed in years so not exactly sure. Try updating windows mixed reality for SteamVR, disable the Steam game theater feature, re-install SteamVR
