I've been scratching my head over this for a few days now attempting to troubleshoot the issue... but the best I've been able to figure out, the SBS 3D video files I've downloaded are just too big to play back smoothly. However, based on everything I've learned recently, they SHOULD be able to play back fine. My PC specs are more than adequate *IF* the GPU uses hardware decoding, which it is definitely capable of doing (I can get the files to play back flawlessly using MediaInfo). For whatever reason, Virtual Desktop is using software decoding for these files, which makes the video appear to play in slow motion (the audio plays back normal and quickly goes out of sync). I have both HEVC files and AVC files, and the AVC ones play normally using hardware decoding like you would expect, it's only the HEVC ones that seem to be affected. I am hoping that there is some option I haven't found to enable hardware decoding but I can't seem to locate it. Please help!

Edit: I forgot to mention... VLC seems to have the same problem as Virtual Desktop. These video files do not play correctly in VLC either, which indicates that there may be something deeper going on here outside of Virtual Desktop. While I have confirmed that hardware decoding is possible using MediaInfo, I can't seem to get any of my usual media players to decode these files using the GPU (also for the record my GPU is an RTX 3080).
