Why's the Rivals community so obsessed with demonizing random people on false pretenses while aggressively defending anyone who actually does something wrong? As for the "without permission" part... who cares? Stop treating mod creators like some kind of gods to whom all rules apply differently,

Most mods are copyright infringement. All mods are free. Name something bad that happens when someone uploads a fundamentally different version of someone's mod without permission. Would you criticize the creator of Garfield Minus Garfield because he didn't get permission from Jim Davis to edit out Garfield? Or the creator of Float on Easy because he didn't ask Avenged Sevenfold & Modest Mouse before combining their songs?
