Game doesn't start. (never played before)

When I launch the game, steam tells me it,s lauched, but then nothing happens, and the "Launched" tag disappears. When I opened the game in the folder, but it says, that the program isn't able to start because I need "api-ms-win-crt-runtime-|1-1-0.dll". Please help me. My Computer skills are very basic...

Should fix your problem if you already installed Visual 2015

Hi,
you need to install 'Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable" on your computer, from the microsoft website.
Steam should install this at the first launch... that's strange.

I InstaIled it. I even uninstalled and installed the game, but it still doesn't work... And if I open it in the folder, it tells me the same thing as before the download.

Thanks! I'm now able to open it! But now a white window called "Planet Centauri" appears and it says "no response". Do I just have to wait or did I something wrong?
