I am unsure what is going on here. I know the T-Rex can be captured using the Lvl-5 Soul gem. I have this soul gem, but it NEVER EVER captures the T-Rex. I must have thrown it at him about 200+ times, minimum. Doesn't matter, just bounces off him like it's a friggen ping pong ball. I have consistently kept him at low health, we are talking between 10-100 HP. This is supposed to help the capture rate. I have watched a few videos of people capturing this thing, and most of the time...maybe 10-15 tries at most. One guy caught him fairly easily at 1000+ HP. But for some reason, the T-Rex on my world treats my lvl-5 soul gem like it's a level 1 soul gem or less. It's complete trash. I have had to kill the T-rex about 5 times now, because I ran out of food and potions just keeping myself alive trying to capture it. Do I need to do some world quest first? Unlock something? I have no idea. Unless they have made the capture rate abysmally and viciously low in recent months, ( like 0.2%), I think I have encountered a bug. Unless someone can provide some explanation why there is such an absurd struggle to get this stupid dinosaur...probably a bug. I think at this rate, we can rule out "luck" as a reason, considering how everyone seems to get the capture very quickly.
