Resolution Problems
Trying to play on a Microsoft Surface Pro but when the game gets to the main screen it is cut off on the right and bottom. Any ideas? I tried changing the display ration in windows already and the cinematic at the beginning is perfect centered and all. But when I get the the main screen it is cut off like I said...

Did you try adding/changing 'KeepRes=1' to your Conquests.ini file? It works for me on my 2k monitor, using my PC. Don't know too much about the Surface machines, tho.

In Display settings, is scaling set to 100%?

I went to the civ 3 folder E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization III Complete\Conquests and found the Civ3Conquests.exe and right clicked on it. Then i selected properties. From there i went to compatibility settings and selected change high DPI settings. Towards the bottom there is a high scale dpi override option that lets you select system , system (enhanced) or , application. You want to select application then that fixes the scaling issue for me.

To bad it's not that easy for us Linux gamers. Guess I will have to keep looking. If it was Civ 5, 6, or 7 then they have a Linux client but this one needs Proton stuff.
