KeepRes makes the game not launch
The game launches after installation (reinstalled twice), but if I add KeepRes=1, then it doesn't launch AND doesn't launch if I delete the command... Only launches after fresh install again. :repoop:

Try the below setup.

1. You first go into your game folder:
Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization III Complete\Conquests

2. open " conquests.ini "

3. Add words below and save .

Playintro=0

4. Right click " civ3conquest.exe " in the same folder, then " Preferences ", then " Compatibility " and click " Change high DPI settings " to open new tap .

5. Check the bottom, " Override high DPI scaling behavior. Scaling performed by: " and choose " Application ". Then click ok.

It worked!

Thanks so much, I can get into "the best" one in the series now... :eli:

Now the game freezes on "Configuring Barbarians", even when I select no barbarians... -_-

I've ran into that one in the past. To fix the configuring barbarians you have to turn off random civs and manually select all your enemies.
